iPhone Killers Together

More and more companies started to make “iPhone Killers”, or in other words, cellphones that has a huge touchscreen and nothing else. In fact, these companies are pretty successful in doing so. Today I am going to show you some amazing phones that are just like iPhones.

Top 5: Nokia 5800XM

Aimed at Middle-end users, Nokia 5800XM is equipped with a 3.2” touchscreen, Symbian 60 v5 System, WiFi, 3.5G Network and a 3.2MP camera. Playing Media is its selling point, and indeed it has some outstanding performance on doing that. However, other than these, there is no special features about it. After All, it wasn’t planned to be a high-end phone.

Top 4: Samsung i908 Omnia

A very nice looking cellphone with 3.5” touchscreen that just has almost every single feature you would want. It runs Windows Mobile Pro 6.1 System with its very own TouchWiz UI that allows you to put Gidgets on the desktop so that you can access to them conviniently. Also, it is equipped with an 5.0MP Auto Focus Camera, GPS, and most of all a 16GB internal storage PLUS microSDHC support. Wow!

Top 3: HTC Touch Pro

In short, HTC Touch Pro is the keyboard version of HTC Touch Diamond. Hardware stats are about the same except for the ROM and RAM storage, which have almost been doubled. The battery now upgraded to 1320mAh, allowing a longer battery life. Keyboard = thickness? Not anymore. Compared to HTC Touch Diamond, it is only 7mm more thicker.

Top 2: Sony Ericsson XEPRIA X1

This phone was first announced at the beginning of 2008, yet still not released officially. It is running on Windows Mobile Pro 6.1 with Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Panel that allows you to browse through things on the cellphone just within your fingertips. It also has a QWERTY keyboard, but nevertheless it is still 16.7mm thick. When it releases, I am pretty sure it will be a shock on the whole world

Top: Google Android Phone / HTC Dream / HTC G1

This phone was announced ages ago, or my bad, at least the rumor spreaded around ages ago, but they never released it until recently. The Google Android phone is made by HTC, and it uses the Android system, which is the main selling point of this phone. Its GPS interface is also a killer. It is completely integrated with your google account, and you can check email, look at the calendar, etc. probably just anytime at anywhere.

So these are all I have got for the iPhone Killer recommendations. Of course, there are far much more of them that I just didn’t list out. If you feel like looking at some other similar phones, try look at:
