SE C905 – Welcoming the 8.1MP Cellphone

As unbelievable as it sounds, Sony Ericsson just released their new Cybershot C905 – a cellphone equipped with a 8.1MP Camera. That’s even better than my Sony Cybershot DSC-W80!

Let me first start off by posting some specs:

• Network: 3.5G HSDPA
• 2.4” Screen
• Memory Card: M2
• Camera: 8.1MP with autofocus and xenon flash
• Battery: 930mAh
• Supports: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, EDGE

How does it look like?

Honestly, it looks just like any other Sony Ericsson Sliding phone.

There are shortcut keys at the top of the phone to access to things like media library, etc.

The 8.1MP camera with Xenon flash is located at the back with a cover. There are even camera controls at the side – zoom in/out, camera/video mode, playback mode and a shutter.

Camera?

Well, since it is the main feature of this phone, how can we not talk about it?

It has different shooting modes ready for you – Normal, Smart Comparison (auto adjust the photo), BestPic, Wide Scene Mode (shoot many times and combine all of them together, and borders.

It also has Macro, Infinity focus and face detection. Yup, it can detect up to 3 faces! (My camera can only detect 2..)

Others?

Of course, the cellphone’s not only about taking pictures, it has media playing abilities too. The music interface is pretty much similar with other SE cellphones (PSP-style). This cellphone is also equipped with Megabass and TrackID!

There is also AGPS on this phone with Google Maps pre-installed. There is no need to buy an extra Bluetooth GPS Module to navgiate =)

Last but not least, the gaming experience on this phone is not bad either. This phone has a built-in motion tracker. In games like Need for speed, you can turn the cellphone sideways to steer.
