Transfer your songs from iPod to PC(or Mac or Linux) with YamiPod

I have two computers and one iPod. When I go to school, I want to listen to songs on the computer while working, but sadly I have not found a good solution other than plugging in and look for the musics in /iPod_Control/Musics.

I am not dumb to not know what a “ripping software” is, but I could never find a good, free one to work on Windows. In Linux, you have Amarok, or my recent discovery: YamiPod for Windows, Mac and Linux!

Rockbox – Another firmware for your iPods

Rockbox is an open source firmware for media players, including iPod. It has a lot of features that iPod native firmwares can’t provide, such as watching a movie on an 1st gen iPod nano, or even play a GameBoy game on it.
